Kaitlin Miles

In her thirteenth year as Director of Choirs at Fort Collins High School, Kaitlin Miles is also completing her 13th year as a choral music educator.  She directs two choir ensembles, teaches three sections of beginning piano, and directs Tower Singers. Originally from Fort Collins, Mrs. Miles received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado, graduating magna cum laude in 2007.  While at UNC, Mrs. Miles had the privilege of singing in Concert Choir under the direction of both Dr. Howard Skinner and Dr. Galen Darrough and studying conducting with Julian Gomez-Giraldo.  Her choirs consistently receive Superior ratings at festivals, have twice been invited to perform at CMEA, and numerous students in the FCHS choral department are selected annually for the Colorado All-State Choirs.  Mrs. Miles currently serves as the Administrative Assistant for Colorado All-State Choir.  Beyond her duties at Fort Collins High School, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her sons Landon and Sawyer.  She is excited to begin another wonderful year of music making with her fantastic students and colleagues at Fort Collins High School!
Amie Tyler

A performer for the past seventeen years, Amie Tyler is in her thirteenth season as choreographer with Fort Collins High School.  Mrs. Tyler has also served as choreographer for Windsor High School, Fossil Ridge High School, Rocky Mountain High School, Poudre High School, Boltz Middle School, and Loveland's Up in Lights Productions.  Mrs. Tyler has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Education, and currently teaches First Grade at O'Dea Elementary.

Jason Tyler has been with Fort Collins High School since 2003.  Mr. Tyler has a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Literature, Composition, and American Theater, both from the University of Northern Colorado.  Mr. Tyler also runs the film program at FCHS, has served as a Colorado Theater Guild Henry Awards Judge, and has worked extensively as an actor, director, and technician in and around the Fort Collins community.
